Grandmaster Jong Chan Kim is considered one of the original pioneers of Tae Kwon-Do.
Thought of as the instructor of instructors, his students encompass the global community of Tae Kwon-Do.

Though, Grandmaster Kim has since retired, many of his students have become instructors and continue to teach the art of Tae Kwon-Do known for its many physical and mental benefits. Tae Kwon-Do was officially named by the founder General Choi Hong Hi in April of 1955. In the decades to follow, Tae Kwon-Do has taken root in over 160 countries with millions of members.
Grandmaster Jong Chan Kim has extolled the benefits of Tae Kwon-Do throughout the years. He strongly believes that the principal focus should not only be on self-defence, but rather towards the development of the character of the student as well. Thus, society can benefit as a whole, one student at a time.
The Guildford branch of Jong Kim Martial Arts is
currently being taught by Master R.H. Kim (9th dan black belt).
